Johan Rooze is a conductor, pianist and arranger. He is a teacher of jazz piano and leads the choir at the Yeongnam University, Daegu;. He is also the music director of the Yaenoeul Jazz Singers and the vocal quintet J-Cloud. He was founder and former director of the vocal group Dekoor at the University of Utrecht, and also the former musical director of the Symphonic Choir and Orchestra of the University of Utrecht. He is an international adjudicator, clinician-, seminar- and workshop-leader.
