Cyrill SCHÜRCH (CH)

Cyrill Schürch is an award-winning composer as well as an active pianist. His music is published by Carus-Verlag and is widely performed, most recently in St. Petersburg by the Hermitage State Orchestra, in London by Ayre Flutes and in Houston by the Moores Concert Chorale. He received his PhD in composition from King's College London, and a BM and MM in both composition and piano from the UH Moores School of Music. Next to the new composition for the Europa Cantat Atelier, he is currently composing a chamber piece for the final of the Mario Merz Prize.
